Our client is a leading Housing Association with a large Estate Services Division and they are recruiting now for a permanent staff caretaker to join their team. The work is on social housing estates and will be covering multiple sites.

The role will require you to:

*Ensure all blocks fully maintained (light bulbs, communal areas, notice boards, etc.)
*Ensure all blocks kept clean and tidy
*Ensure bulk bins are readied for rubbish collection
*Report all vandalism and ASB
*Monitor estate security
*Ensure all grounds, car parks and surrounding areas kept litter free
*Carry out inspections on work completed by external contractors
*All others duties included in the role.

For this job you are required to hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Ideally you will have had experience of working as a caretaker within a housing role, and have demonstrated the skills required to work in a standalone position. You will be a good communicator, have basic IT skills (such as sending an email) and be able to confidently deal with tenant questions. A DBS check will be carried out prior to this role commencing, and full references covering 3 years will be required.
