Careers Leader
Can you help prepare our students with the employability skills needed to secure positive destinations in the 21st Century?
We are looking to appoint a new Careers Leader to further develop our excellent provision in this area. We believe in, and invest in Careers Education, Information Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) as something that we value highly.
You will embody the spirit of the School’s ethos, ‘Engage, Enthuse, Inspire’, both in the broad and exciting range of opportunities created for the students, and in your personal approach to the role. You may or not have experience of working in the education sector. We are open-minded and seeking an individual who can excite and prepare our students for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. We are an integral part of a vibrant local community and there are many local businesses and organisations willing to assist.
The post is for 37 hours per week, term time plus 5 staff learning days and 2 weeks to be worked during the school holidays and to cover parents evenings, events and results days; 41 working weeks
Salary for a full-time post at Band J is within the range £33,945 to £36,649, starting point depending on experience and qualifications. Actual salary, based on hours and weeks worked, is £30,916 to £33,378 subject to any continuous service.
