Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year
We are seeking a care home manager to manage our nursing home in Lightwater, Surrey.
Candidates MUST have UK NMC ‘live’ nursing PIN in order to apply for this role (RGN or RMN).
Our care home has approx 40 beds, and our residents are elderly with various specialist care categories including dementia, brain injury, Huntingdon’s, Parkinson’s and stroke.
The manager will ideally have good experience having worked for another large corporate care group. Sound financial and budgeting experience is also essential.
The Home Manager is the person who is responsible for the day to day running of a registered care home and who has overall responsibility for the running of the home and meeting its statement of purpose. The Home Manager must be qualified, competent and experienced to run the home and meet its stated purpose, aims and objectives.
The Home Manager approach should create an open, positive and inclusive atmosphere. The Home Manager is also responsible for demonstrating strong positive ideas about professional practice and right of the individuals (particularly privacy, independence and choice) and adhering to National Minimum Standards, and all relevant legislative requirements.
