Salary: £26,000 – £27,000 per year
Being a Support Worker is one of the most selfless jobs that you can possibly do…you spend your time for other people. This type of work is extremely morally rewarding, knowing that you’re making a difference to people’s lives who need that help the most.
You will be working with one of the UK’s largest residential home providers, that support adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and challenging behaviour. Everything they do is to support the health and wellbeing of the individuals, and to focus on positive outcomes for them.
As a Support Worker, you will be helping with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry and assistance with medication. Each and every person we support is unique so we encourage our teams to get creative, promoting each individuals independence, choice and dignity whilst still having plenty of fun along the way.
Experience in the care sector is not necessary, however it is essential that you are motivated, enthusiastic and committed in supporting people.
Full training is provided!
They are looking for someone who will work a full time week.
Either 35.5 hours or 46.5 hours per week, worked over either 3 or 4 days. Shifts would be 11.5 hours long.
