Capita Social Care Resourcing are looking for dedicated and passionate care assistants to join our leading Christmas team in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

As a Capita Christmas Temp, you will be expected to work through the busy Christmas period, caring and supporting services users throughout, including Christmas eve, Christmas day, boxing day, new year’s eve, and new year’s day. For the most motivated and enthusiastic workers, work could be extended past the Christmas period.

As a Christmas temp Care Assistant you will be responsible for the health and wellbeing of any service user placed in your care. You will utilise your skills and training to ensure every person receives the best possible care and support at all times.

In this role you will work with various service user groups, including:

Adults with Learning Disabilities
Physical Disabilities
Older Adults
Mental health
Challenging behaviours
Substance MisuseYou will be responsible for:

Supporting the every need of the service users
Providing the highest standard of care at all times, including washing, dressing, and feeding
Understanding and addressing individual needs in terms of age, gender, race, sexuality and disability, and meeting specific cultural and religious needs
Ensuring all instructions are followed in an accurate and timely mannerThe ideal candidate:

NVQ in Health and Social Care
Will drive and have access to own transport
At least 6 months experience in a Support/Care Worker role
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
To be motivated to provide the best support possible
Flexible
Reliable
