Care Assistant

Our service in west London provides 24 hour residential care and support for 26 elderly people, including those with varying levels of dementia related illnesses.

Job Purpose:

To provide a high standard of care and support which will enhance the quality of life to our residents in line with their individual care plan and under supervision and guidance of the Senior Care Assistant.

Typical Tasks
– Support individuals with personal care as specified within their Care Plans
– Administer and record medication as specified within Care Plans
– Carry out day to day light housekeeping duties as directed
Utilise, monitor and update communication and recording systems
– Comply with internal and external policies and standards

Essential Skills
– NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
– Good command of written and spoken English.
– Experience of working with vulnerable adults
– Experience of developing care plans
– Able to work flexible hours, weekends, on call as necessary
– Computer literate

33 hours per week
Hours 8am – 2pm or 2pm – 8pm
