£26,000 per year days for a Senior Assistant

The Car Park General Assistants are the public face of our clients business. As part of your duties you will have regular interaction with members of the public so experience in retail or hospitality would be very useful.

The role

Working days, 42 hours per week, on a 4 on 4 off 7am – 7pm rotating shift pattern for days, or 7pm – 7am for nights

You will ensure that the car parks are clean, this role does require a significant amount of cleaning which includes scrubbing floors, operating cleaning machines, sweeping and mopping stairs, the collection of litter and other light maintenance tasks.

You will be required to carry out patrols, checking the car park, you will review its security and the security of the vehicles parked there, ensuring the location is being used correctly, monitoring health and safety standards making sure any potential risks are reported and removed.

The person

You must have a full UK driving licence and we must be able to obtain positive references from previous employers.

You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills – you will be given a number of tests at the interview.

A basic understanding of computers and windows based applications is necessary.

Importantly, candidates must be hardworking, reliable, and flexible and have a high degree of initiative.

You will be on your feet all day and you must be willing to work out doors. There is cleaning involved in the role
