Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per year
Have you been in charge of a busy cafe, or perhaps managed your own business? Do you have experience with cooking breakfasts to order in a pressured environment? Have you been in charge of the kitchen in a cafe environment before?
Do you have a passion for cooking, and a knowledge of organic produce?
If the answer is yes, we need to hear from you!
Our client is looking for that special person that has the capability to produce hot food to order and work to deadlines, but with a passion for cooking and a creative flair for working with seasonal produce to create new delights for the menu in this busy cafe.
The cafe is open plan and you will be on show as you cook, so you will need be confident and enthusiastic in this environment.
Your role will be to cook breakfasts to order, complete stock checks and to ensure the cafe is running smoothly, and you will also be in charge of cooking pre-made pastry goods and preparing lunches, including fresh salads.
Our client is a well known organic food provider, so you must be passionate about organics or be prepared to learn!
This role includes weekdays and weekends, but no evenings.
Own transport desirable due to the location.
