SOFTWARE DEVELOPER IN CLOUD PROJECTS TEST VALIDATION TEAM
SALARY: £36,000 – £48,000DOE
LOCATION: WORTHING
JOB TYPE: PERMANENT
Look for and expect quality and reliability improvements in software from the design teams.
Responsible for the validation of products which have a web interface.
A continuous integration environment, you will be developing a test strategy that uses as much automation as is possible
You would engage in the development of continuous automated and manual testing activities throughout Agile development, aiming for zero defects
Participate in Agile iteration planning and provide input on required testing tasks, process, and user stories.Plan and write software test plans and specifications
Read technical documents and learn about the products, predict areas likely to fail, plan and design tests, apply risk assessment, agree test deliverables, plan test schedule. Arrange and chair various software test reviews.
Implement test specifications and Record and examine test results. Review software issues and report defects and nature of the fault
Provide clear instructions how to reproduce it. Submit test results for review and approvalCORE SKILLS NEEDED
3- 5 years related work experience in a software development environment
At least 1-2 years of which including writing test cases, test plans and code coverag
Strong background with C#PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Experience automating functional UI, RESTful web services
JavaScript and SQL is a plus Experience using tools such as NUnit, SpecFlow, Selenium, WebDriver, Cucumber
AngularJS and the Jasmine BDD test environment would be a plus
GitHub, Jira, Confluence and Jenkins is a plusAutomated software testing
Continuous Integration
Software testing and testing methodologies (Agile)
Test specification / report writing
Experience in using test management tools.
Planning and defining test strategy
Functional product testing
Regression testing
