Bristol (office/field based, covering the UK)
c£42,000 – £48,000 Plus Annual Bonus Scheme, Pension, 25 Days’ Holiday

Our client is the UK’s leading operator of purpose built student accommodation. They are now on the lookout for a Business Improvement Manager to join their team on a one year contract basis.

Undertaking a challenging, interesting and highly rewarding contract, the successful candidate will play a key role in the future success and direction of our client’s business.

As a Business Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operationally-led frameworks, tools and skills in order to drive a continuous improvement programme for our client.

Managing and developing a Subject Matter Expert Programme, you’ll drive performance and promote best practice throughout the company. Identifying process efficiencies, you’ll drive initiatives and take full ownership of implementing them within the business.

Building close relationships within the operational business, you’ll seek feedback and input in order to prioritise areas for change. Additionally, you’ll act as a coach and mentor for colleagues and play a key role in shaping and influencing teams throughout the business.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

– Significant operational business improvement experience gained within a fast-paced organisation
– Experience of running continuous improvement programmes
– A track record of evaluating end-to-end customer journeys, operational projects and process mapping
– A full driving licence and the willingness to undertake UK travel as and when required

As a Business Improvement Manager, you must possess excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills. Credible and self-motivated, you must also have the ability to manage expectations and an ambitious approach.

Experience gained within a Six Sigma or Lean environment would be beneficial to your application, as would previous people or team management experience.
