A proven successful Business Development Manager is wanted for this award winning Digital marketing environment right in the heart of Brighton. The ideal candidate will have come from a cold calling, B2B environment and will have a great command of the sales process, preferably within a SAAS environment. Your key responsibility as a BDM will be to drive and develop new business, whilst managing a pipeline of opportunities. Strong sales skills and negotiating skills is a must along with a strong desire to over achieve in a target driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Pro-actively generating revenue from new business activity to consistently achieve your targets
• Consultatively build relationships with new prospects with a large focus on their digital marketing needs/pains.
• Building and managing a pipeline of opportunities and forecasting accurately
• Developing a high level of industry knowledge

Skills & Experience

Essential:
• Recent successful new business sales experience, ability to discuss key achievements
• A track record of successfully creating opportunities, closing business & exceeding targets
• A consultative, intelligent selling style and strong rapport building skills
• Desirable:
• Software, technical or professional services sales a definite advantage
• Experience in the digital marketing space
• Person specification

• Self-aware, confident and determined
• Excellent at listening, questioning, and responding to gained information
• Passionate about learning more and improving your sales skills

This is a high target driven environment with great earning potential and career progression. With an uncapped and generous commission scheme, our top Business Development Managers triple their basic salary in commissions: they have people earning £26,000a month, and our highest commission rate is 25%.
