Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager- £35k-£40k basic + Uncapped OTE + Car

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager who is looking for an exciting new role selling architectural/rainscreen cladding, composite walls, roof insulation and panels with plans to expand their product range.

My client is now looking to recruit an experienced BDM selling to Design and Build Contractors and to Developers. The successful candidate will have experience of within this or related industry and would have contacts with developers or building contractors and will be able to convert warm leads as well as able to generate their own business and will have a proven track record within a professional sales environment.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

• A strong closer with a proven track record in field sales
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, experience of achieving win-win outcomes
• Experience and ability to start up a role, using experience and contacts
• Excellent judgment and common sense
• Self motivated, able to use own initiative and provide outstanding customer care.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload effectively
• Able to open and develop new accounts
• Able to reactivate previous customers.

Successful candidates will have:
• Demonstrable experience in a sales background

• Ability to set and work to tight deadlines and respond to change

• Willingness and ability to cope with the demands of frequent business travel

• Able to attend trade shows and exhibitions.
• Possess a full UK Licence
