My client a leader in trading systems globally currently seek to support a Front office derivative trading & risk management platform. They require people with exposure to the front office working either as a Traders Assistant or supporting traders or having experience of trading themselves in a bank, brokerage or proprietary trading environment.
They will expect people to have experience of working with front office software packages working in a high volume high pressure environment.
The right candidate will have an understanding of derivatives / Futures and options and will be able to work a shift pattern covering some early starts to cover European territories.
The role is supporting a software platform so any understanding of systems would useful e.g. basic network concepts / operating systems. In addition any experience of Business / Systems Analysis / UAT or project work would be fantastic.
In terms of user software experience typically using multiple software systems connecting to multiple trading environments and knowledge of Middle / back office clearing and settlement systems would also be advantageous.
