Building Surveyor

Salary: £48,000 per year

My client in Matlock Derbyshire is currently in need of a Building Surveyor due to expansion.

Aim:To advise clients on design and construction of buildings, advising also on condition, maintenance and repair for the company

It’s essential you have:

• Degree in Building Surveying (or suitable experience)
• Working towards professional qualification e.g. MRICS, MCIOB
• Up to two years’ Building Surveying experience
• Good problem solving skills
• An appropriate level of knowledge of building construction and building regulations with an understanding of planning legislation and health and safety
• Microsoft Office proficient
• ArchiCAD/CAD proficient or working towards proficiency
• Full UK Driving Licence

Customer service:

• Provide an efficient and business-like point of contact. This includes responding to internal and external enquiries and (via face-to-face, telephone, email)
• Deliver a consistent and professional level of customer service at all times to Clients and other practices within the industry, and provide advice to various clients we service in both the private and public sectors

Measures of success:

• Feedback from team members and line manager

• Service improvements suggested
• Accuracy and timeliness of support
• Efficiency of systems and processes
• Service delivered within budget and to agreed targets

Salay – This position is paying £48,000per annum which also includes a very good holiday package with additional benefits on top.
