Building Surveyor

I am working with a Building Estate Office for a region in Hertfordshire who are looking for a new member of the Building Surveying team.

The job requires Building Surveying skills to include experience of building pathology, planned maintenance, specifications and drawing design, management of contracts including small works, direct labour and sub-contractors, general surveys, health and safety together with some administrative statutory compliance work.

You must be able to work on your own initiative as well as under the building department manager. You will have a background in residential property maintenance and refurbishment and be chartered (MRICS or MCIOB) with minimum 1 years of experience, or be an experienced graduate who is looking to progress their career. A driving licence and your own car is required and business mileage will be paid. You will be proficient in MS office pro including excel and access and have a reasonable level of ACAD competency.
