Apprenticeships
Permanent vacancy – 37 hours per week
£29,233 to £32,901 per annum

We are looking for a Brickwork Trainer to share their industry knowledge with the next generation. Your role will involve the planning, co-ordination, delivery, assessment and review of the learning activities associated with Apprenticeships, including preparation for end-point assessment (EPA), the monitoring of ‘off the job training’ and ensuring regular contact with employers. Ideally, you will have previous knowledge and experience of Apprenticeships and a passion to transform lives and make a difference.

The Apprenticeships department works with a wide range of employers, so applicants must be both learner and employer focused and determined to ensure Apprentices achieve their full potential. Our new Brickwork Trainer will cover both classroom/workshop delivery and workplace assessment, typically, 3 days in college and 2 days in the workplace on a weekly basis. The role is supported by dedicated Functional Skills Trainers, Tutorial Learning Mentors and Skills Coaches. As such, there is no requirement to delivery functional skills as part of this role. An extensive CPD programme is incorporated in the role with the opportunity to complete industrial updating to ensure that our new Trainer remains current with bricklaying practice.
