Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 plus car allowance plus bonus and benefits

Are you a driven, creative Brand Marketer who thrives in a fast paced, challenging environment?

Reporting in to the Marketing Manager, as a Brand Manager you will be responsible fordelivering specific growth objectives through the development and implementation of annual brand plans.

Responsibilities

As the Brand Manager you will be accountable for the development and execution of strategies for new advertising campaigns, packaging, trade and consumer promotions, and of course, for achieving great growth on your brand.

Your responsibility will be to own the brand P&L and be responsible for achievement of financial targets alongside market share. You will Initiate and manage market research projects to deliver powerful consumer insights as the basis for long term brand growth and develop these insights into achievable plans.

Within this exciting Brand Manager role you will develop, recommend and lead the execution of local marketing plans and manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget. In close co-operation with the Sales function, you will identify trade needs and opportunities, trade promotions and develop pricing and distribution strategies for assigned brands.

In addition you will contribute to global category projects and deliver a product development programme to generate consistent sales and profit growth to build the business in the long term.

Ideal Candidate

You will have proven success within a Brand/Product or Marketing position within an FMCG, Food or Drink environment with the ability to build strong relationships cross functionally whilst maintaining a level of resilience where necessary.

You will be ambitious, passionate and energetic, with a focused and logical approach to problem solving and you will be driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles.

With strong analytical skills you will have the ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation being able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen when identifying business opportunities.

You will be motivated to take on responsibility in an organisation that provides a high level of autonomy and individual responsibility and have a genuine desire to work within an entrepreneurial environment.
