Job Description

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Brand Ambassador to visit retail stores across a designated territory on behalf of several leading brands to complete new product launch & display installations, merchandising and promotional material placement. If you have strong communication skills, the confidence to build relationships with in-stores and have a natural ability to communicate with people at all levels, we want to hear from you! The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and earn £24,000 plus a 10% bonus.

The Requirements

– Experience of working within retail environments or managing a territory across multiple locations is beneficial but not essential

– Excellent organisational skills – the ability to manage multiple objectives working across different projects at the same time, efficiently

– An acute eye for detail – you will be required to read store planograms and to interpret data to provide insight and feedback following work undertaken in store

– Ability to apply broad thinking, assessing in store opportunities to drive improvements against target driven KPIs

– Highly effective verbal communicator – a proven track record of building relationships and communicating at multiple levels

– I.T. literacy and understanding of consumer technology – training will be provided but you should be comfortable with using technology

– Full driving licence

 

Role responsibilities

– Building positive relationships in retailers with key contacts to achieve SIG’s client objectives and influence store sales performance

– Effectively communicate with store staff to clearly define visit objectives and review changes and future action plans

– Ensure client products are displayed and merchandised according to agreed planograms

– Work with stores to identify and fix stock availability issues

– Ensure all Point of Purchase items are effectively displayed to maximise end user and consumer brand awareness to increase sales

– You will be required to store a small amount of stock & equipment at home for work use

– Ability to adapt to change and react to short term activity objectives, delivering results positively and proactively

– Work to KPI’s, set by SIG clients, working to increase performance of both personal and team goals

– Attend National team meetings and local field accompaniments as necessary
