Job Title: Bookkeeper
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000p/a DOE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm & Friday 9am – 4pm
Location: Dukinfield SK16

Job description –
My client are a group of Companies based in Dukinfield, looking to recruit a full time (or part time to allow for school drop off /pick up) Bookkeeper to join their Finance team working alongside our external Accountants and reporting into the Chief Executive.
The main duties and responsibilities of the role will involve but not be limited to:
- Preparing and processing Sales Ledger Invoices
- Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations
- Credit Control
- Payroll
- Sales and Purchase Ledger nominal postings
- Payment of expenses/Invoices
- General organisation of the departments
- Producing Monthly accounts
- Administration to include post/scanning/filing
- General organisational of the department
- Full oversight of company finances
Key Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer literacy and the ability to use various applications
- Good Administrative skills
- An organised and methodical approach to working
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An enthusiastic, polite cheerful attitude
- An honest and discreet attitude when dealing with company accounts
- The ability to work to deadline
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are a prerequisite.
- Xero experience idea
The ideal candidate will have all round experience of Accounting functions including the following:
- Proven track record in Accounts
- Good IT skills
- Accountancy qualification such as AAT or studying towards one.
- Practical, flexible attitude with a hands on approach
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work quickly with absolute accuracy
