Salary: £36,000 per year
Looking to speak with football enthusiasts, for a rare Bookkeeping opportunity within the sporting industry, to join an established business based in the centre of Birmingham.
The successful candidate will be reporting into the Finance Director and will have full responsibility of the finance transactions and contracts. Depending on experience this role is offering up to £36,000 per annum. This is a chance for someone with a passion for sport to get involved with the day-to-day processing, along with duties specifically relating to the industry.
The office is based in the centre of Birmingham; this role will be split between office and home working, with occasional travel to sites when necessary. The business are ideally looking to for someone to start this side of Christmas or early January.
Bookkeeper responsibilities:
Generating sales invoices from contracts and posting to Sage
Post purchase invoices to Sage and arranging payment
Posting Cashbook and journals to Sage
Arranging monthly payroll and posting appropriate journals
Distribution of funding; including statements where deductions are shown
Preparation of Management Accounts for submission to Head of Finance
Quarterly VAT returns
Budget monitoring, preparation of collection of budgets from each site/ clubAbout you:
Work with honesty and integrity
Previous experience as a bookkeeper- sound knowledge of double entry accounting
Ability to work within a small team
