Ranging from 48 to 155 feet, all Sunseeker craft are built to an exacting standard of quality and refinement, which has elevated Sunseeker to be the leading designer and manufacturer of luxury motor yachts across the globe.

Mploy are currently recruiting for the following position:

Carpenter / Boat Builder

Second fix / Final fit. To fit out cabins (bedrooms), galleys (kitchens), lounges, crew quarters, doors, furniture, upholstered panels and bathrooms to a very high standard of finish through excellent application of scribing, spiralling and classic carpentry techniques. Akin to shop and kitchen fitting, applicants will work in teams led by a Team Leader to construct boats ready for dispatch. Applicants need the ability to read and understand scaled drawings (1:10s), plus, the competence to work within tight tolerances with high value lacquered veneers and solid wood products. Building to the required quality standard to defined deadlines is a key element of the role. On the job coaching will be provided to those unfamiliar with boat construction methods.

Minimum Requirements.

Able to work in restricted spaces and on the water if required
Have own tools
Able to attend and pass a one hour carpentry trade test and interview in Poole, Dorset
Able to read scaled drawings
Able to work with high value wood products
Keen to work in a fast paced construction environment

Upon successful completion of a twelve week temporary contract Sunseeker may offer a permanent position, which includes the following benefits.
