BMS Service Engineer

To Service and maintain BMS/Controls equipment associated with Building Automation Systems or standalone controls, maximising system performance and reliability, on mobile sites between 08:30 – 17:00

The candidate will be based from Slough, and will be required to travel to customer’s sites across London and the South East.

Role and Responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance to BMS Systems such as Trend, Honeywell, TAC, Schneider, etc and associated field equipment in key City of London, Docklands, Essex, Kent and Home Counties.
• System reliability and performance / development. Energy strategies
• Customer relationship development / satisfaction.
• Prepare detailed reports/technical communications on work carried out and submit to Contract Manager.

• Participation in out of hours overtime on specific contracts
• Good Team player and participation in out of hours emergency rota will be essential
Flexible working, sometimes beyond normal working hours
Experience & background

• Ideally candidates will have as minimum BTEC or equivalent qualification in electrical or electronic engineering or appropriate job related experience
• Further qualification to HNC would be welcome / encouraged.
• Applicants must be familiar and experienced in control panel wiring and MCC fault finding
• Applicants will require at least three years ‘hands on’ experience in HVAC controls / systems.
• Applicant must have a thorough understanding of Controls theory related to the HVAC industry
