BMS Commissioning and Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Excellent opportunity to undertake a mixed function commissioning and maintenance role for a specialist BMS controls company in the London area. 

You will provide customers with both service and maintenance as well as commissioning duties on projects, which, will largely be oriented towards system upgrades, refurbishments and refits in a variety of properties.

You will be proficient with a variety of Trend control systems and will ideally also have capability with Tridium or Distech products and software but full training will be provided on additional systems.

Duties will include:

• To maintain and improve customer BMS systems
• Undertake both routine and reactive servicing and fault-finding.
• Completing clear and concise reports detailing work carried out and any recommendations of extra works
• To carry out extra works and small projects / commissioning works
• Identifying potential improvement projects for customers for reliability, optimisation and energy efficiency.
• Quote simple remedial works and small extra works
• Undertake BMS energy audits and reviews.

Key Skills/Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Experienced in the full commissioning of Building Management Systems
• Qualified and experienced with Trend Control Systems and ideally Tridium or Distech amongst others
• Able to modify Software and Graphics
• BACnet, SIPP, Modbus systems experience desired.
• CSCS/ECS or JIB registered
• A full clean UK driving licence
