Who would this role suit?
* Suitable for biomedical scientists a) currently in editorial roles; and/or b) who have successfully completed post-doctoral appointments; and/or c) with successful academic careers, seeking a career change.
* PhD in a biomedical or life science discipline or medical doctor (MD, MB BS, MB ChB).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Career focused – Ability to lead and add value both internally and externally
* Suited to someone who is happy working remote or if based in or around London then the offices are also a viable option.
The Role:
* This is an influential and rewarding role supporting the education of students and the continuing professional development of biomedical scientists around the world, including at universities, medical schools, research institutions and pharmaceutical/biotechnology companies.
* The editor interacts, daily, with leading authorities, thought leaders and learning and development teams.
* Lead a team of three editors to maintain, expand and develop TBLSC.
* Support the Pharma Account Manager in her/his work supporting existing pharma/biotech subscribers and winning new subscribers. This work involves identifying talks and related learning material that meet the needs of subscribers e.g.: learning journeys.
* Identifying subjects and structures for short, online courses for the pharma/biotech industry that will be run by Henry Stewart Conference Studies/Henry Stewart Events
* Reporting to the board
