Behavioural Support Assistant

ITN Mark Education are working in partnership with a number of friendly, centrally based Primary School in Cardiff who are seeking a strong Teaching Assistant’s to work on both a part- time and full time basis alongside their class teacher to support children with varying levels of SEN.

Due to a growing increase from schools that we supply we are looking to recruit for qualified Teaching Assistants, would ideally be Level 3 or equivalent.

The children you will be working with will have emotional, behavioral and social difficulties, autism, English as an additional language, Speech and language difficulties and ADHD.

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for the successful applicant. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher. Benefits of the post include a competitive daily rate.
You will have:
* NVQ level 3 in childcare (or equivalent)
* Recent experience of working with children (subject to references)
* Experience working on a 1:1 basis with additional learning needs
* Necessary skills required to manage challenging behavior
* A valid and current Enhanced DBS Certificate
* An enthusiastic attitude towards working with children
