Behaviour Therapist – North UK

Our client is a large national care provider who provides a range of care services for people with learning disabilities; autism; head and spinal injuries; neurological needs and other complex conditions

Due to continual growth, they are seeking a behaviour Therapist to work in the North region of England

Salary CIRCA £40,800
33 days annual leave per annum (Including Bank Holidays) Company car/car allowance, pension contribution, life assurance, sick pay.
We are looking for an experienced individual to provide specialist behavioural support, training and advice to staff teams with a portfolio of services in the North region of England.

Your duties will include: supporting the service managers in the assessments, support planning and risk assessments for people we support with the potential of challenging behaviour, ensure the people we support receive high quality care delivery according to their identified needs as well as identifying and facilitating service specific training.

Responsible to the Managing Director, you will be home based, but can expect to meet monthly at the portfolios’ business meetings, as well as regular managerial and clinical supervisions.

You will ideally possess one of the following qualifications: Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, NCI Instructor with a Certificate in Behaviour Modification and/or Diploma/Degree in Behaviour Analysis and registered with either the NMC, UKCP, BACP or equivalent. We can only consider applicants who are fully qualified.

You will have experience of working with adults in a Social Care or Health Care setting, people with multiple disabilities and complex needs and have a person centred approach together with the concept of ‘Valuing People’.
