BASED FROM HOME COVERING BRISTOL AREA
FULL TIME PERMANENT

THE ROLE
Due to continued success, our client is looking to recruit a Field Maintenance Engineer to cover the Bristol area from their home base. A company van, fuel card, tools, PPE, iPad and iPhone are all supplied. There may be a requirement to cover other local geographical areas, so flexibility is important.
The main focus of this role will be as follows:
* Carrying out maintenance activities on batteries and chargers to include cleaning, topping and draining
* Assisting in the installation of battery charging areas in co-operation with sub- contractors
* Commissioning and checking of batteries and chargers on customer sites and briefing the customer on the practical use and maintenance of the equipment
* Assisting in the delivery and collection of company products and supplies
* Dealing with customers in a professional manner
* Submitting legible completed job sheets to allow for accurate invoicing and monthly private mileage reports in a timely manner
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Good practical hands on skills, in an industrial environment
* Strong attention to detail and an orderly approach to completing jobs to the required standard
* A strong customer service focus with knowledge of health and safety requirements when working on/at customer sites.
* A full, clean driving licence
