Our client is one of the worlds leading suppliers of IT Software and Services.
The Engagement Manager will lead the sales activities for assigned product/software solutions in the Retail Banking arena. This will include formulating solutions and progressing via direct sales as well as selling through/with other sales professionals & business leaders within the organisation.
The Engagement Manager collaborates with sales team members to leverage the companys technology (product/software solutions) and know how to generate sales. They are responsible for closing deals in collaboration with this sales team interacting directly with the customer. The Engagement Manager is an advance technical expert for specific products/software solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates must have a demonstrable track record of selling into Financial Services, ideally Banking.
Ideally they should have Software and Professional Services experience and been targeted on both.
Strong consultative selling skills.
Gravitas/Industry credibility.
Persistent and skilled at negotiating.
