Salary: £26,000 per year
Randstad Care are currently recruiting experienced Band 3 Community Health Care Assistants to work alongside a qualified nurse visiting patients in their own homes in the Warrington area. Car drivers are preferred but not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for community medical professionals looking for shift / work flexibility with on-going support / training. The rate of pay will be between £26,000depending on skills and experience.
Successful Candidates will:
-Have at least 2 years clinical experience working in an acute hospital environment or NHS community setting
-This experience must have been within the last 12 months
-Have excellent communication skills
-Experience of working autonomously and within a multi disciplinary team
-The ability to adapt to different hospital and hospice environments
– Experience in wound care management, diabetes management and medication administration will be advantageous.
Responsibilities will include:
– Supporting RGN with wound/dressing care
– Support patients with diabetes management including administration of intravenous medication
– Follow person centred care plans and deliver high standards of customer focused service
-Liaise with multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic model of care is followed
