Bakery Operative / Bakery Warehouse Operative – Twickenham, TW2 6RT

Initial 3 month contract with a view to going permanent
Salary: £26,000per year rising to £8.37 after successful completion of probationary period.

Due to our continued success and growth plans we are now looking to recruit a Bakery Operative to join us at our Twickenham bakery. This will be on an initial 3 month contract basis but with a view to going permanent thereafter.

Bakery Operative / Bakery Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities:

• To ensure all ingredients etc are picked accurately.
• Ensuring all relevant documentation and procedures are in line with requirements.
• Following all procedures in the processing of various products in the bakery
• Following all process control systems including food safety and health and safety
• Completing all necessary documentation as required
• Maintain strict hygiene standards through plant cleaning and equipment cleaning

The Ideal Bakery Operative / Bakery Warehouse Operative:

• Ability to work in Freezer / Chilled and cold areas essential
• Fork Lift Truck licence an advantage but not essential
• Numerate / Literate
• Basic food hygiene experience an advantage
• Flexible – willing to work the shift patterns required
• Good attention to detail

Working Hours and shift patterns:

Contracted Hours:39 hours per week, 5 over 7 days
Shift Pattern: Early starts, backs & nights, you must be flexible
