AV Prep Technician

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

The company supplies technical and scenic production to events, TV, and filming all over the UK and globally.

We are now expanding our warehouse-based team.

We are looking for AV Warehouse Technicians to work primarily in our warehouse based in Middlesex. Ideally, we would like candidates with some experience or interest in AV technology or the live events industry but training will be provided regardless, the most important thing is the right attitude.

Applicants should be comfortable with manual handling as this will make up a large part of the role.

This role would provide an ideal stepping stone into the world of events. Further progression with training would be available in Lighting, Video, Audio and Rigging. Once trained there would be an opportunity to care for a specific discipline.

Your day-to-day responsibilities would include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles from vans to articulated lorries.

• Checking in hardware coming back from shows, checking components and cleaning where required.
• Correctly coiling and labeling cables.
• Preparing hardware for outgoing shows.
• Pre addressing of lighting fixtures and patching lighting desks for larger shows (Training provided)
• Keeping a clean and tidy warehouse area.
• Providing ad hoc assistance to the set department as and when required.
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.

Hours of work: 08:30- 05:30
