Automotive Quality Engineer Customer

£40-37K, 8AM-5PM, Mon-Thurs, 8AM-1PM Fri.

Are you a Quality Engineer from an automotive background, with a history of working with Japanese OEM clients, looking for a permanent position within an organisation who have recently doubled the capacity of their site, and have a very strong long term order book.

This position ticks the boxes on career progression, technical development and job satisfaction.

This customer facing role is to ensure quality and procedural control in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Therefore tasks include:

-Monitor, plan and execute cost improvements

-Manage quality related issues (such as custom warranty) and quality targets in the form of KPI’s

-Liase with internal, supplier and customer to ensure compliance and improvement

To apply you should have:

-Automotive Manufacturing Quality Engineering experience (tier 1 or 2 level)

-Experience in auditing investigations, problem solving and Customer relationships, in particular with Japanese automotive clients

-Strong knowledge of 8D, 5Y, root cause analysis

The role is working days Monday to Friday.
