Automotive Field Engineer (Bristol)

£28,000 p/a + company car

One of our clients are currently looking for a Automotive Field Engineer (Bristol) to join their team on full-time and permanent basis.

This is a home-based role covering the Bristol area, and you would be tasked with travelling to both garages and domestic addresses in order to inspect and diagnose damaged vehicles, and then complete a report outlining your observations. This is a hands on role including jacking up vehicles, and you would also need to use test equipment such as Diagnostic tablets, coolant pressure testers and exhaust gas coolant testers. The role involves visual inspection only and you would not need to strip or repair vehicles. You would be informed of the following day’s jobs at 5pm each day, and would be able to manage your own diary to get around these.

The salary for this position is £33,600 per annum, and the package would also include a company car, fuel card, workplace pension, and a holiday allocation of 28 days (including Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-a level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification
-Full driving licence
