Automation Test Analyst (Tester) – Contract

A leading financial services organisation in the West Midlands is seeking an Automation Test Analyst to work within the testing function on a business critical project.

Rate: Up to £450 per day

Length: 6 months

Location: West Midlands

As the Automation Test Analyst your responsibilities will include:

·To design, code and co-ordinate the development of automated tests to support the delivery of quality IT solutions.
·Develop quality automated testing solutions in accordance with the overall Corporate Plan and Department Plan.
·Evaluation and selection of appropriate test tools to ensure systems are tested by the most efficient and effective methods.
·Perform Test Automation reviews and contribute to test strategies; assisting in the creation and maintenance of Test automation Frameworks.

will be experienced in automated test analysis with a detailed knowledge of test procedures, frameworks, methodology and harness. An analytical approach is a must as you will create test scripts and scenarios which will thoroughly test all aspects of system changes.

Candidates should have a:

·Minimum of 2 years experience as a Functional test automation analyst using HP UFT (formerly called QTP), HP, Visual Studio.
·Experience in the financial sector would be desirable.
