AutoCAD / Inventor Draftsperson / Technician

Solid People are happy to be working with our client who aims to manufacture and install high quality security doors, while providing and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment for all its employees. They strive to maintain continuous improvement throughout the organisation, and make every effort to ensure that their business activities do not adversely affect the environment.

Due to continual growth they are now looking to add a CAD Designer /draftsperson to their team.

Job Role:
The role will involve working in a busy team in a production office, liaising with internal and external clients to produce manufacturing schedules and CAD drawings and models of timber doors and components.

Skills and Qualifications:
-Strong on AutoCAD 2D also a good understanding of Inventor would be beneficial but not essential
-HND, HNC, Degree or similar in a Design or Engineering subject
-Experience creating technical drawings/general arrangement drawings for manufacture
-Confident speaking to clients and working within a busy team.
-Attention to detail
-Good knowledge of materials, mainly wood/timber and metal.
