Auto Electrician

A unique opportunity to join a manufacturing company based in Cheshire who design and manufacture a range of HGV trailers, rigid body conversions and van conversions supplying major fleet operators.

On shift, you will be reporting to the Production Shift Manager and will be required to complete electrical installations on trailers and vehicle bodys. You will be responsible for wiring up electro-hydraulic systems and you will be required to carry out diagnostics checks, troubleshooting and rectify faults.

Duties will include carrying out basic tasks in regard to hydraulic systems and using special tools such as crimping devices and heat shrink guns.

Ideally, you must have past experience working with trailers or vechicle bodies, past experience with wiring electro-hydraulic systems and components and must be comfortable using a variety of hand tools whilst working from engineering drawings.
