Audit Semi Senior

Salary: £28,800 – £38,400 per year

Our client is an established firm of chartered accountants with a network of branches throughout the country. They have a highly successful small branch on the outskirts of Nottingham and are looking to add an Audit Semi-Senior to their workforce. This particular role is working with the charity and not for profit sector so a self-starter with an interest in this type of work would be of special interest.

This is an interesting and varied role which will entail carrying out the following duties:

• Producing audit summaries
• Planning assignments
• Leading specialist assignments in the charity sector
• Budget preparation, identifying key risks and assisting with audit plans
• Inclusion of statutory disclosures in line with the company checklist
• Manage client communications
• Monitor chargeability and assignment budgets
• Develop specialist sector knowledge
• Coach other staff where needed in the interests of improved performance and technical development

The successful candidate will need to have some relevant experience, although not necessarily in the not for profit sector. You should also be a confident communicator at all levels and have a solid knowledge of auditing standards and approaches.
