Role Specification
Job Summary
The jobholder will ensure that the Advanced Exchequer and associated software modules and system including Advanced PROJECTminder direct customer base receive the highest quality of training. The main tasks involved in the Associate Training Consultant role are detailed below.
Main Responsibilities
• To become fully accredited in Advanced Exchequer / Advanced PROJECTminder and all other associated modules and software.
• To provide end user training in Advanced Exchequer etc. as required to new & existing customers and internal staff members.
• Guide the customer through their training program defined within the project documentation ensuring full coverage and create the hand over documentation for the Support Department.
• To validate the effectiveness of the training provided and make suitable recommendations to ensure the customer receives the training they require.
• Working in conjunction with the Advanced Project Manager, Advanced Solutions Consultant and Advanced Training & Implementations Consultant the Advanced Associate Training Consultant will assist the customer throughout the implementation process utilizing the tools and templates available, including Trainers checklist and Project AIR log etc.
• As this is a foundation role the complexity of work undertaken will normally be simpler than that undertaken by the more experienced Training & Implementation Consultants within the team.
• To spend on average 2-3 days per week training and to have 3 day to for acting as Implementation Support, administration, preparation and self-education.
• Updating all internal systems in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Any other duties as required from time to time by the Professional Services Manager.
Person Specification
Qualifications / Attributes
• Preferably AAT Qualified or relevant degree/qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and friendly manner
• Confident and Determined
• Strong Problem solving aptitude
• Enthusiastic and excited about new challenges
• Keen to learn and continue learning at all times
• Well presented
• Must enjoy travelling to customer site anywhere in the UK regularly and staying away overnight when required.
Experience
• Would suit university graduate with a relevant field of study and qualification or a background in Bookkeeping and Accountancy
• MS Office skills in particular Excel & SQL
• Experience of training clients in software, either on a one-to-one basis, in a small group or in a classroom setting beneficial.
