Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Manager to join a growing food manufacturer who are based in South Somerset. The company are very keen on developing their staff members to enhance their passionate workforce whilst also supplying their customers with the very best produce.

The Role

Support the Technical team to support their next period of growth.

The Assistant Technical Manager will report to the Technical Manager to support the day-to-day running of the Technical Department.

The Person

* Three years minimum Food Industry experience

* Advanced Technical knowledge

* Experience of creating, implementing and maintaining factory documentation / standards

* HACCP experience / exposure & qualification to Intermediate level

* Process knowledge & insight

* Audit management experience

* Excellent teamwork & communication skills including cross functional (internal and external)

* Ability to work autonomously and to a high standard

* Self-driven and highly motivated
