A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Project Engineer to join our client based in Cannock. Our client is a high growth company which offers a competitive service across a wide spectrum of building service installations. Established in 1997 they have successfully undertaken major projects nationwide and now have a chain of repeat business for a multitude of ‘blue-chip’ UK companies. They are looking to take on an Assistant Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in daily tasks to ensure the smooth running and profitability of nationwide contracts.

Job Type: Permanent
Working as the Assistant Project Engineer you will do the following duties:
*Business Administration
*Preliminary design reviews
*Assisting with material procurement and programming
*Being involved with every aspect of Contract management
*Supporting estimating through to project delivery
The successful candidate will hold a qualification in a Mechanical Engineering related discipline and will have an interest in forging a career within the building services sector. Applicants should have strong IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. A basic understanding of Autocad software would be an advantage but not essential. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, telephone and face to face).
