Assistant Planning Engineer – Consultancy

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer to join an award winning consultancy based in Central London. They are a young and dynamic organisation that have 30 years of experience providing their clients with project management, development management, design management and planning & programming from a network of UK offices. They provide their staff with the opportunity to work on interesting projects across a range of sectors including Commercial Offices, Residential, Higher Education, Hotels and Retail.

Due to an increase in workloads they are looking to recruit an Assistant Planning Engineer to join their team. Based out of modern offices in Central London the Assistant Planning Engineer will report into the Planning Director and provide him with support on a portfolio of build projects across the Capital. This is a rare opportunity providing the successful candidate with valuable exposure of planning techniques, they will be provided with training and development and a career plan which is designed to see you progress within the organisation.

Candidate

* Minimum 1-2 years planning experience.
* Previous experienced using planning software packages – Asta Powerproject, MS Project, Primavera P6
* Good understanding of construction techniques
* Qualification in engineering – Degree / HNC / HND
* Strong team player and communications skills
* Ambitious and desire to develop a career within planning

On offer is a competitive basic salary of between £54,000 – £66,000per annum plus an attractive benefits package which includes 36 days holiday, private medical, life assurance, pension, profit share bonus, season ticket loan and other benefits.
