Assistant Nurse Manager

We have a client who are a social care charity providing support services for disabled and disadvantaged people. They have a vacancy at the moment for an Assistant Nurse Manager.

Job Purpose

• To manage and coordinate the delivery of support to service
  users to enable people to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
• To effectively deliver the clinical aspects of the
  service. For example, PEG and PEJ feeding, epilepsy, diabetes, tissue
  viability, postural drainage.
• To provide support to the Nurse Manager in providing leadership
  and supervision to Support Workers ensuring agreed outcomes are achieved and
  high quality standards maintained.
• To support the nurse manager in ensuring that all
  support plans, health guidelines, health action plans and hospital passports
  are up to date and regularly reviewed.
• Work closely with Health and social care staff
  colleagues. For example GP, District nurses, CLDT.
• Work closely with relatives and next of kin.
