We are looking for a sharp, outgoing, upbeat, ambitious and passionate individual who has a real interest in developing a career within our Brand and Marketing Team. The Assistant Marketing Manager will join us as a permanent employee and responsibilities will include the below. This marketing role specialises in Content Marketing & Social Media Marketing.
- Develop the Overall Social Media Optimisation Strategy and Tactical Plan, including although not limited to the below
- Platform & Channel Strategy: Identify which channels our brands should be in and why. Developing strong robust strategies for each channel. Channels possibly including and not limited to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Blogging, E-newsletter, Our Database, Pinterest, Google+, LinkedIn etc
- Content Origination & Management: Create varied content ranging from day to day content to big bang campaigns, creatively coming up with fresh new ideas with objective led content that is in line with our customer/influencer wants, needs and desires. Ensuring content produced satisfies and exceeds their expectations. Including creative writing through press releases, blogs etc to designing PDFs, Brochures, Info-Graphics, Downloadable E-Books etc
- Content Marketing Schedule: Manage the development, co-ordination and implementation of the 3 month rolling Content Marketing Machine. What will be posted, when and why. Working alongside the Brand, Product and SEO Team ensure co-ordination of cross departmental content is satisfied
- Audience Development Tactical Plan: Increase and grow our audience and reach through multi-channel activity to targets including prospective clients and influencers
- Engagement Tactical Plan: Develop content that will encourage our audience to engage with us and others, ensuring they take the desired action such as to share or complete a goal. Achieve targets
- Visibility, Brand Perception & Listening Tactical Plan: Identify where our prospects / influencers are having conversations and listen to what is being said. Understand who is talking about our brand and what is being said to spot opportunities to engage & share
- Distribution Tactical Plan: Amplify our content through a strong distribution plan including although not limited to social channels, website, key influencers, wedding sites & press
- Analyse, Measure & Improve: Understand aims and objectives of all activities and review key metrics to understand success/failure. Spot trends through campaign performance tools and propose corrective actions in accelerating success or propose corrective measures in poor performing campaigns
The Candidate:
We are looking for an individual that can show real business experience within the content marketing and social marketing arena, that can start to make an immediate impact. We will consider candidates where experience may be limited although passion for the topics within this role are exceptional. Salary expectations to be in line with actual experience secured. Full training can be given where necessary. The candidate we are looking for:
- Lives, eats and breathes: All things social, showing a real passionate and avid user of social channels
- Creative: Highly creative in terms of copy writing articles, through to designing content such as brochures, PDFs and blog articles, through to developing customer focused and objective led full blown content/social campaigns
- Social Experience: In using social channels with a personal profile and business profile
- Knowledge: Real understanding of what each social channel can offer a brand / audience
- Professional Experience: In the actual job description listed above
- Objective Led Marketer: Understands the aim and objectives of content and social marketing to whether they are lead generation, relationship marketing, brand management or customer retention objectives. Utilising the marketing tool kit where applicable
- Technical Experience: In Microsoft Office | Adobe suite such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Campaign Performance Experience: With tools such as Google Analytics, Adwords, Hootsuite, Webmaster & Klout
- A High Achiever: Doesn’t just idea generate and doodle in a note pad, but is as passionate about the idea itself as well as actually implementing it and making it happen. This person goes the extra mile, stays later, looks to exceed personal and business goals wherever possible so they can be a high achieving marketer. Therefore the candidate is in line with the Company
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £24,000 – £33,600 (depending on experience)
- Profit Related Bonus
- Holidays: 20 days annual leave plus all UK Bank Holidays (rising +1 day for each complete 12 months of service. Up to an additional 5 days)
- Nottingham
