Assistant Manager

Assistant Manager – Required for this well known travel company based in Bicester. They are looking for the successful candidate to have some management experience within travel or a retail environment and have a proven background in driving sales. They will pay up to £26,000 + benefits and monthly bonuses.

Assistant Manager responsibilities:

– Proactively drive and deliver sales within your shop guided by your area manager
– Effectively performance manage and motivate a team to hit store targets
– Manage the travel and foreign exchange teams
– Build and retain loyal customers
– Enhance the customer experience
– Deal with rotas, sickness, recruitment and appraisals
– Work towards your own personal sales targets

Assistant Manager Skills:

– Management/supervisory experience within travel or retail
– Passion and energy demonstrated through personal commitment and conviction
– Experience of developing people through strong leadership
– Capable of making decisions without supervision
– Experience in driving performance
– Experience in training and development
– Experience of working towards set targets

Additional information

– Monday to Sunday 9am to 17.30 generally
