Assistant Management Accountant
Job Description
An international, industry leading, hospitality business based in Central London are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their head office team. They pride themselves on the highest level of customer service which is evident from the front office all the way through the team to the finance function. This in an integral role providing support to internal and stakeholders requiring the highest level of professionalism and communication.
- Update Accounts Payable ledgers with the processing of invoices
- Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts
- Posting of accruals and prepayments
- Process payments
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Liaising directly with internal and external stakeholders
- Assisting operations team with accounting requirements
- Ad hoc reporting
To be considered for this role you will have/be;
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within a finance function
- AAT / ACA / CIMA part qualified or equivalent is essential
- Experience of taking accounts up to trial balance, posting prepayments and accruals
- Previous use of Sage X3 highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate across all levels of the business
