This will be a fast paced varied role with a key focus on timely accurate month end closes.

Our Property and Housing Client based in Luton, are at the forefront of providing housing solutions to local authorities nationwide. As a growing business, they are seeking talented and self-sufficient Assistant Management Accountant to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with Finance Directors, playing a key role in supporting our exponential growth.

Responsibilities:

– Preparation of Month End Management Accounts

– Compilation of Management Accounts Pack

– Reviews with FD, Ops & SLT

– Handling Inter-company Sales and Recharges within the Group

– Banking and Treasury management

– Weekly Payment Run oversight

– Line Management of two Accounts Assistants

– Bookkeeping for Investment companies

– Annual Budget preparation with FD support

– Company Card transaction reviews

– Daily & Weekly Occupancy reporting

– Managing and overseeing property On-boarding, Standing Orders, Rent Statements

– Collaborative process improvement with SLT

– Support FD with Scale up Growth project

– Other Ad Hoc duties as required

Requirements:

– Minimum 3 years Financial experience

– Proven success in a financial setting

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Managerial Line Manager or Team leader experience desirable

– multitasking, and decision-making skills

– Metrics-driven finance mind with an eye for creativity and efficiency

– Experience with automation desirable
