Salary: £26,400 – £33,600 per year
My client, a specialist UK based Civil Engineering Consultancy which specialise in Residential and Commercial Development Projects, is searching for an Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their Design Team based in Kingston-Upon-Thames.
It is essential that applicants have a strong BEng/BSc and/or MEng/MSc in Civil Engineering and have two years experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Drainage, Pipeline or Sewerage Designs for Residential Developments using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.
Applicants are also required to have an awareness of Flood Risk Policy and Surface Water Management Plans.
It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing Drainage Assessments or Flood Risk Assessments.
The role will involve working on varied Residential, Industrial and Commerical Development Projects for Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Local Authorities. Candidates will be supported by the Civil Design Team to complete Drainage Strategy and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design in using Microdrainage, AutoCAD and PDS.
The role will also offer the opportunity to complete Flood Risk Assessments and Surface Water Management Plans.
