You will be working for a well-established company that aim to deliver infrastructure in a sustainable manor that is vital for the UK. They are now looking for a senior Buyer to create and develop long term strategic plans for the development of categories for which you will be responsible.

• Assist negotiations with suppliers to agree prices, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels, ensure all purchase orders are placed and delivered in a timely manner.
• Identify potential shortages, taking appropriate action to minimise impact on service and reputation.
• Build robust relationships with key suppliers, at all levels.
• Ensure suppliers maintain/exceed the standards we set.
• The client is looking for someone with a real hunger to develop their skills

More about the role:

In this role you are the pivotal to the team, being able to lead effectively and communicate with all members of staff. A drive to delivery your project on time whilst having the ability to manage programs and deliver the project within the budget. An eye for detail and quality will also take you a long way.
