Assistant Buyer

Our client is a fantastic boutique premium retailer. This role is ideal for an individual who wants to work in a fast moving and hands-on organisation where they can really make a difference and progress for the future.

ROLE

• Sitting directly below the buyer to assist in day-to-day operation of the buying function
• Range planning and strategy implementation
• Help implement on going and future projects within the business
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the market, supplier base, competitors and changing customer requirements for all products/services

CANDIDATE

• Currently you will be working in an assistant buying role within a fast paced retail environment.
• You must have a proven track record at increasing profitability and revenue across your category
• You must be comfortable with high levels of administration
• Successful candidates will be highly analytical and have an eye for detail
• Ideally you will have worked with US vendors and know how their branding works
