Our client is an SME focused on precision engineering and is very successful in this space. This well-established manufacturer based in Birmingham is to strengthen its finance team with a key individual to support its ambitions.

The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?

As an experienced, newly qualified or QBE finance professional you will work closely with the MD and the FD to support all areas of the day to financial management of the business. Experience in Manufacturing and Engineering will be highly desirable and will lend very well to supporting the company’s vision and progress.

Benefiting from being part of a larger group, there is potential to grow and develop within the company whilst appreciating the stability of a successful SME.

To be considered for the role we are ideally looking for the following:

• Some level of financial qualification – Finance Degree, AAT or CIMA.
• Experience in a manufacturing and/ or engineering business.
• Experience in all areas of finance: Reconciling transactions, payroll, maintaining fixed asset register, monthly financial reports, end of month, stock reconciliation, year-end reporting and audits.
